A benchmark for those who seek the finest white Bordeaux. Mouton-Rothschild's white demonstrates that the appellation's greatest terroirs transcend their red wine reputation. This is a wine of genuine distinction, meriting serious consideration from enthusiasts of complex, mineral-driven whites.

CHATEAU MOUTON-ROTHSCHILD

Set on the celebrated gravel ridge of Pauillac in the Gironde, Château Mouton-Rothschild spans 90 hectares of deep graves and stands as the sole château ever promoted within the 1855 Classification, achieving First Growth status in 1973. Acquired at auction in 1853 by Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, the estate was elevated to its present standing through the singular determination of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. The blend — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot — is drawn from yields held to 35–40 hl/ha. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the precision of its gravel terroir, and its unrivalled place in the history of Bordeaux classification. A cornerstone reference for lovers of great Pauillac.
