Product features : Domaine Ponsot Saint-Romain Cuvée de la Mesange 2020 — St-Romain

Breeding
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels with no new wood.
On the eye
Pale gold with greenish glints
On the nose
Aromatic profile of linden blossom and white flowers, with underlying mineral notes that speak to the limestone-rich soils of Saint-Romain.
In the mouth
Mineral-driven palate with good acidity, developing subtle honeyed notes as it opens. Time in glass reveals a gentle roundness beneath the wine's elegant structure.
M. Francois
The mineral backbone makes this wine an ideal companion to delicate fish preparations—particularly poached or steamed preparations where its acidity and restraint will complement rather than overpower. A versatile food wine that rewards careful cellaring.
