- This cuvée represents an ideal entry point to the Domaine des Roches Neuves portfolio. Hand-harvested fruit, minimal intervention in the cellar, and a philosophy centred on preserving the natural character of Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley.
- Entirely hand-harvested, with careful selection of ripe fruit. The vintage was managed to retain freshness and aromatic precision, avoiding the heavier extraction sometimes associated with the appellation.
- Aged with restraint to emphasise brightness and mineral tension. The élevage allows the wine to breathe and develop complexity whilst maintaining the lightness and drinkability that define this style.

Une acidité tonique qui souligne le fruit croquant. C'est un vin "aérien", d'une grande buvabilité (le côté "vin de soif" dans toute sa noblesse)
La cuvée 'Domaine' est le mètre-étalon du Saumur-Champigny moderne. Thierry Germain a réussi à gommer toute l'austérité parfois reprochée au Cabernet Franc pour n'en garder que la sève et le parfum. C’est un vin qui respire la joie de vivre, d'une précision aromatique bluffante. C'est la bouteille que l'on débouche sans réfléchir, mais qui surprend toujours par son élégance. Et pourquoi pas avec des suprêmes de volailles sauce gribiche ?

Domaine des Roches Neuves is a wine estate in the Saumur-Champigny appellation (Loire Valley), run by Thierry Germain. Around 28 hectares farmed biodynamically. Main grapes: Cabernet Franc (reds) and Chenin Blanc (whites). Limestone tuffeau soils. Cuvées: Terres Chaudes, Marginale, Franc de Pied. Wines of great precision and fine depth.
