Breeding
Aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, imparting fine aromatic complexity and subtle oak character.
On the eye
Intense ruby robe with luminous depth. Violet and cherry hues shimmer throughout.
On the nose
Aromatic complexity unfolds gradually: red and dark fruits—cassis, blueberry, cherry, blackberry, raspberry—mingle with floral notes of violet and peony. Subtle spice emerges: cedar, mint, white pepper, clove and cinnamon.
In the mouth
Bergamot and eucalyptus aromas develop on the palate, supported by tannins of notable finesse and elegance. A crystalline mineral tension runs throughout, balancing the wine's solar maturity.

Domaine des Roches Neuves is a wine estate in the Saumur-Champigny appellation (Loire Valley), run by Thierry Germain. Around 28 hectares farmed biodynamically. Main grapes: Cabernet Franc (reds) and Chenin Blanc (whites). Limestone tuffeau soils. Cuvées: Terres Chaudes, Marginale, Franc de Pied. Wines of great precision and fine depth.
