Product features : Laurent Miquel Cinsault Syrah 2023 — IGP Pays d'Oc

Breeding
Exclusively in stainless steel tanks
On the eye
Pale salmon-pink, with a subtle lustre characteristic of the finest Languedoc rosés.
On the nose
Red fruit aromas dominate: strawberry and redcurrant lead, with a whisper of white peach and a mineral undertone that speaks to the terroir.
In the mouth
Light-bodied yet layered, with a lively acidity that carries the red fruit flavours across the palate. A subtle sweetness—reminiscent of boiled sweets—provides balance without excess. The finish is clean and persistent.
M. Francois
Laurent Miquel has achieved an admirable equilibrium here. Cinsault can lack presence; Syrah can dominate. Together, they create a wine of genuine finesse—a thirst-quenching rosé that never sacrifices complexity. Consistent vintage after vintage, this is the rosé for those who seek Provençal elegance with Languedocian generosity. Ideal for summer entertaining.

DOMAINE LAURENT MIQUEL

Based in Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Hérault, Domaine Laurent Miquel farms 200 hectares under certified organic agriculture across the Languedoc appellation. A winemaking family since 1791, Laurent — a trained engineer — took over in 1996 as the eighth generation and made history as the first producer to grow Albariño in France. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the diversity of its terroirs — limestone at Cazal Viel, clay-limestone at Auzines — and the precision of its reds, whites, and rosés. A benchmark address for anyone wishing to explore the full depth of the Languedoc.
