In the mouth
Smooth and enveloping on the palate, with energetic structure. Dense, rich texture balanced by well-integrated tannins and hints of dark fruit. A prolonged, flavourful finish.
On the nose
Fragrant red fruit aromas—strawberry, raspberry and cherry—mingle gracefully with lavender and subtle clove notes, revealing the wine's aromatic complexity.
On the eye
Vivid ruby, opaque and densely concentrated. A wine of considerable depth and presence in the glass.
Breeding
Fermentation lasts between 3 and 5 days to extract a wine of excellent quality. The 2015 LBV is a traditional Late Bottled Vintage, unfiltered, thereby retaining all its fruit character and considerable ageing potential.
A versatile accompaniment to game dishes, red meat preparations, cheese soufflé and chocolate-based desserts. The wine's richness and structure complement both savoury and sweet courses with equal elegance.

Ramos Pinto is a port house founded in 1880 in Porto (Portugal) by Adriano Ramos Pinto. Part of the Champagne Louis Roederer group since 1990. Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. Vineyards in the Douro Superior. Range: Tawny (10, 20, 30 Year), Vintage, Late Bottled Vintage, Dois Aviadores (dry Douro wines). Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz.
