On the nose
Intense aromas of raspberry and black cherry, with distinctive garrigue notes and a whisper of black pepper. The bouquet develops with air, revealing the wine's layered complexity.
In the mouth
Red fruit flavours dominate the palate, complemented by garrigue and subtle spice. The wine shows good structure with balanced tannins and a clean, persistent finish characteristic of the terroir.

ABBAYE SYLVA PLANA
Based in Laurens, Hérault, Abbaye Sylva Plana farms 54 hectares under organic certification across schist, clay-limestone and grey marble soils, producing AOC Languedoc reds, whites and rosés. Founded in 1139 by Cistercian monks, the estate was taken over in 1998 by Henry-Ferdinand Bouchard and his son Nicolas, who completed organic certification in 2008. Yields are deliberately held to 35 hl/ha across south-facing, contour-planted vineyards, with varieties spanning Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Roussanne and Vermentino. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the remarkable depth of its terroirs and the consistent rigour of its organic winemaking. A benchmark address in Languedoc-Roussillon.
FAUGERES ROUGE
In the coeur of the Languedoc, halfway between Béziers and the Montagne Noire, the Faugères AOC owes its identity to a soil that is rare on French ground: layered schist. In red, the appellation blends syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, carignan and cinsault on hillsides swept by sea breezes, delivering minerally, mouthwatering wines built to age. At Halles de Quercamps, we've selected three complementary signatures — Abbaye Sylva Plana (biodynamic), Domaine Cottebrune (Pierre Gaillard) and La Tour Penedesses on its volcanic slopes — to give a sharp, no-frills reading of the appellation.
