Vibrant aromatics of green lemon, green apple and fresh herbs, underpinned by a subtle mineral character typical of the appellation. Well-defined and precise.
In the mouth

M. Francois
Recommended for those who value finesse and mineral depth in white Burgundy. This is a wine for the serious enthusiast—approachable now, yet with sufficient structure to reward cellaring. Montmains consistently delivers wines of genuine complexity and terroir expression.

LA CHABLISIENNE

Based in Chablis in the Yonne, La Chablisienne is the appellation's only cooperative, farming 1,250 hectares of Kimmeridgian limestone and marl and accounting for more than a quarter of all Chablis produced. Founded on 1st May 1923 by Abbé Balitrand, the cooperative today unites around 300 grower-members producing exclusively white Chardonnay, with both Terra Vitis and organic certification underpinning its environmental commitments. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its range, the characteristic mineral expression of the Chablis terroir, and the seriousness of its approach to sustainable viticulture. A dependable reference for anyone seeking the true character of the appellation.
