In the mouth

The bouquet reveals an appealing floral character with ripe stone fruits and subtle exotic notes. The aromatic profile is clean and precise, reflecting careful winemaking and the wine's organic provenance.
On the eye
Pale golden hue with subtle green reflections, suggesting youthful vitality and freshness.
Breeding
Aged on fine lees for a period of 7 to 8 months.
Serve with tartare of fish, pike in beurre blanc, roasted langoustines, trout meunière, wild mushroom omelette, or the local Crottins de Chavignol cheese. DOMAINE ALPHONE MELLOT
Domaine Alphonse Mellot is a wine estate in the Sancerre appellation (Loire Valley). One of Sancerre's oldest winemaking families, spanning 19 generations. Around 50 hectares farmed biodynamically. Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc (whites) and Pinot Noir (reds). Cuvées: La Moussière, Génération XIX, Edmond. Flint (terre blanche) and limestone (caillottes) soils.
