A distinctive expression of Loire terroir

  • This Touraine rouge reveals the singular character of its soil with uncommon precision. The wine speaks clearly of its origin—a genuine reflection of the vineyard's natural expression and careful stewardship.
  • A natural companion to lighter meats and grilled dishes. The wine's balance and fruit-forward nature make it equally at home with Mediterranean cuisine or simple country cooking.
  • Unpretentious and approachable, this is wine made for genuine pleasure. There is no complexity for its own sake here—merely honest fruit, good structure, and the quiet satisfaction of a job well done.

On the eye
Brilliant, clear garnet with youthful luminosity
Breeding
Maceration and fermentation in concrete vat for 10 to 12 days, separately for each varietal. Blending and élevage in cement vat for 4 months. Light earth filtration before bottling.
M. Francois
This wine finds its truest expression alongside Mediterranean cooking—whether grilled vegetables, herb-dressed fish, or simple tomato-based dishes. Its acidity and fruit balance make it equally suitable for lighter poultry preparations. A wine of genuine versatility and honest character.

Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps

LA GRANGE TIPHAINE

Settled on the slopes of Amboise in Indre-et-Loire, La Grange Tiphaine farms 16 hectares of silex, clay and tuffeau soils at the heart of the Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation. Founded in the late nineteenth century, the estate passed to Damien Delecheneau in 2002 — fifth generation — who achieved organic certification in 2007 and converted fully to biodynamics by 2014. Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Côt and Grolleau yield whites, reds, rosés and sparkling wines of real precision. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the rigour of its viticulture, the mineral tension of its tuffeau terroir, and the quiet determination of Coralie and Damien Delecheneau. A reference for honest Chenin Blanc.
