Ruby-red robe of medium intensity but striking brilliance, characteristic of a vintage that favours luminosity.

Subtle oak influence introduces notes of black pepper and light smoke, adding aromatic dimension without dominating the fruit.

Supple and fluid on the palate. This is a wine built for drinking rather than weight; it flows with elegance and maintains good balance throughout.
The wine's structure and restraint make it particularly suited to grilled beef dishes, especially those with herbal or citrus elements. The tannins are sufficiently resolved to complement charred meat without overwhelming delicate seasonings. A versatile food wine for the table.

CHATEAU PEYRABON
Situated at Saint-Sauveur-en-Médoc in the Haut-Médoc appellation, Château Peyrabon covers 57 hectares of sandy gravels over clay and limestone subsoils, with records tracing the property back to 1766. In 2022, the Héritiers Castéja — owners of Château Batailley and Lynch-Moussas — acquired the château, bringing the rigour of one of Bordeaux's most respected négociant families to its reds, assembled from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the consistency of its gravel terroir, the clear direction instilled by the Héritiers Castéja, and the thoroughly Médocain character of its wines. A Haut-Médoc of genuine substance, firmly rooted in the left bank tradition.
