A wine of perfect harmony and refined elegance

  • Château Gloria was assembled from several parcels classified as Grands Crus Classés in the 1855 classification. This thoughtful selection of vineyard sites underpins the wine's consistent quality and distinctive character.
  • The estate is owned by the same family that manages Château Saint-Pierre, another respected Saint-Julien property. This dual stewardship reflects decades of accumulated expertise in the appellation.
  • A wine built to age gracefully. Château Gloria reveals its youthful fruit appeal in the short term, whilst developing deeper, more complex secondary characteristics over years in the cellar.

Product features : Château Gloria 2022 — Saint-Julien

Breeding
Aged in French oak barrels for 14 to 18 months, with approximately 40% new wood, imparting subtle vanilla and spice aromas to the wine.
On the eye
Deep purple robe, almost black, with garnet highlights
On the nose
Intense and complex bouquet: blackcurrant and dark cherry, with cedar, precious wood and a whisper of liquorice and dark chocolate
In the mouth
Structured and rich on the palate, with fine, silky tannins. Ripe dark fruits—cassis and blackberry—meld with spice, tobacco and cedar notes characteristic of Saint-Julien. The finish is long, marked by freshness and remarkable balance
M. Francois
Château Gloria exemplifies Saint-Julien's marriage of power and refinement. Its aromatic complexity, well-integrated tannin structure and ageing potential reward both immediate enjoyment of its vibrant fruit and patient cellaring for evolved forest floor and tobacco notes. Ideal with red meat, game and sauced dishes. An essential choice for serious Bordeaux enthusiasts.

CHÂTEAU GLORIA

Château Gloria spans 50 hectares in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, at the heart of the Médoc, on Günzian gravel soils that define the appellation's character. Founded in 1942 by Henri Martin — cooper and long-serving mayor of Saint-Julien — the château was assembled parcel by parcel, drawing exclusively from land belonging to Classified Growths. Taken over in 1991 by the Triaud-Martin family, it achieved organic certification in 2024 under the guidance of consultant Jean-Michel Comme. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the coherence of its terroir, the rigour of its conversion to organic farming, and the typicity of its Saint-Julien reds. A château that reconciles Médoc heritage with genuine contemporary ambition.
