On the nose
The bouquet reveals layers of dark and red fruits—blackcurrant, plum and cherry—with subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the Saint-Julien appellation.
On the eye
Deep crimson with purple reflections, suggesting youth and vibrancy.
Breeding
14 months in oak barrels, 20% new
M. Francois
A wine of genuine poise that pairs beautifully with French alpine cheeses: Saint-Nectaire, Comté or Reblochon would be ideal companions. Also suited to roasted poultry and lighter game dishes. Drink now or cellar for five to eight years.

CHATEAU LAGRANGE

Château Lagrange spans 118 hectares at Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, on the highest günzian gravel ridges in the appellation, reaching 24 metres at their peak. First recorded in 1631 and classified as a 3rd Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the château was acquired by the Suntory group in 1983 and transformed through one of the Médoc's most thorough renovation programmes — restoring both vineyard and cellars to their rightful standing. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the precision of its Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend, and the genuine alignment between its historic classification and the quality we find in the glass. A benchmark Saint-Julien: HVE-certified, firmly structured, and built for the cellar.
