A wine of considerable aromatic complexity, revealing layers of stone fruit, citrus and tropical notes alongside honeyed minerality. The bouquet alone speaks to the care invested in this cuvée.
The palate demonstrates admirable balance between richness and restraint. Gourmand yet refined, with a subtle acidity that prevents any heaviness, allowing the wine's natural elegance to emerge.
This moelleux possesses the structure and finesse to complement a wide range of occasions, from fresh fruit desserts to patisserie and dark chocolate preparations.

Product features : Domaine Didier Dagueneau les Jardins de Babylone - Jurancon Moelleux 2018 — Vin de France
In the mouth
Elegant and gourmand in equal measure. The wine unfolds with good depth, its natural sweetness balanced by a pleasant acidity that maintains freshness throughout. The finish is clean and lingering, with honeyed stone fruit persisting.
On the nose
Intensely fruited bouquet: ripe apricot and peach mingle with citrus zest and white stone fruits. Honeyed notes provide depth, with subtle tropical undertones suggesting the wine's concentration and ripeness at harvest.
Serve this wine at cellar temperature alongside fresh fruit-based desserts, fine patisserie, or quality dark chocolate. Its balance makes it equally rewarding as an aperitif wine. The 2018 vintage demonstrates the domaine's mastery of the moelleux style, where concentration and elegance coexist without compromise.
Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps
Domaine Didier Dagueneau is a wine estate in the Pouilly-Fumé appellation (Loire Valley). Founded by Didier Dagueneau, now run by his son Louis-Benjamin. Grape: Sauvignon Blanc exclusively. Around 12 hectares farmed biodynamically. Cuvées: Silex, Pur Sang, Buisson Renard, Asteroïde. Wines of remarkable purity and precision.
