CHATEAU HAUT-MARBUZET
Set on the slopes of Saint-Estèphe overlooking the Gironde, Château Haut-Marbuzet extends across 75 hectares of Günzian gravels over a clay-limestone subsoil, at the heart of one of the Médoc's most dependable appellations. Acquired in 1952 by Hervé Duboscq — then just 7 hectares purchased en viager — the château was rebuilt plot by plot from the former Mac-Carthy estate, and classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2003. Today it is run by Bruno and Hugues Duboscq, the third generation. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its reds, the honest expression of its gravel terroir, and the long-term commitment of a family working entirely on their own terms. A reliable reference for lovers of characterful Saint-Estèphe.
