Situated in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle on Bordeaux's Left Bank, Château Branaire-Ducru covers 60 hectares of gravelly, siliceous soils and has held 4th Grand Cru Classé status since 1855. Founded in 1680 by Jean-Baptiste Braneyre, the château was acquired in 1988 by Patrick Maroteaux, who undertook a thorough modernisation of the estate; his son François-Xavier has led the property since 2017, maintaining a rigorous approach to quality across the Saint-Julien appellation. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the precision of its Cabernet Sauvignon-led blends, the consistency it delivers across vintages, and the integrity of a gravel terroir cultivated with real discipline.
