  • This Margaux combines the structural backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon with the voluptuous roundness of Merlot, creating a wine of immediate appeal yet considerable complexity.
  • Petit Verdot contributes depth and colour whilst Cabernet Franc adds aromatic refinement, layering the palate with spice and subtle oak influence that speaks to careful élevage.
  • The wine possesses genuine cellaring potential. Those with patience will find it develops further complexity over the coming decade, rewarding proper storage with increasing elegance.

In the mouth
Elegant and complex, with fine-grained tannins that provide structure without harshness. The palate shows good balance between fruit, oak and acidity, with a lingering finish that speaks to quality winemaking.
On the nose
Aromas of dark berries and violets emerge first, followed by gentle spice notes and a whisper of oak that frames without dominating. The bouquet unfolds gradually, revealing further complexity with aeration.
On the eye
Deep mahogany hue with ruby highlights, suggesting both ripeness and structure
Breeding
In French oak barrels for a period of 14 to 16 months
M. Francois
This is a wine of understated refinement, well suited to slow-roasted lamb where its structure and aromatic complexity can shine. A seven-hour braise would allow the wine's tannins to integrate beautifully with the meat's richness. Equally at home with duck or game, it rewards the kind of unhurried dining that defines civilised entertaining.
