Product features : Château Guiraud 2022 Sauternes 1er Cru Classé 75cl

In the mouth
Unctuous and mineral in balance. The palate shows concentrated sweetness with bright acidity that prevents cloying. A long, refined finish with lingering honey and spice.
On the nose
Intense stone fruit and honey aromatics, with subtle notes of dried apricot and candied citrus peel. A whisper of vanilla from careful élevage.
On the eye
Deep golden yellow with amber highlights, characteristic of properly aged Sauternes.
Breeding
Aged for approximately 18 months in new oak barrels at 90% with 10% from first-use casks.
M. Francois
This is a Sauternes of genuine distinction. I recommend it as an apéritif in its own right, or alongside oysters where its mineral edge complements the brine beautifully. It will also surprise with aged goat's cheese—the complexity holds its own. Drink now or cellar with confidence.
