In the mouth
Rich and structured, with a core of dark berries and liquorice spice. The palate shows good weight and definition, concluding with a lengthy finish that echoes the wine's aromatic profile.

Blackcurrant buds, blackberry and wild plum mingle with white pepper, anise and subtle eucalyptus notes. The aromatics suggest both immediate appeal and the promise of further development.

Breeding
Twelve months' élevage in Bordeaux barrels, French oak (one-third vinified in new barrels and two-thirds in one or multiple use barrels)
The R de Rimauresq 2020 pairs admirably with herb-roasted lamb or beef. Its structure and spice complement game preparations, whilst the wine's freshness suits Mediterranean herb-forward dishes. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow the aromatics to fully express themselves.

DOMAINE DE RIMAURESQ
Set in Pignans in the Var, Domaine de Rimauresq covers 60 hectares of Côtes de Provence, classified as a Cru Classé since 1955 and farmed to certified organic standards. Founded in 1864 and rebuilt after phylloxera by Augustin Isnard in 1882, the estate was acquired in 1988 by the Scottish Wemyss family, who began the conversion to organic viticulture in 2016. On a mosaic of clay-schist, pink sandstone and rounded pebbles, the estate produces reds, whites and rosés of real aromatic precision. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the integrity of its crystalline terroir, the rigour of its certified organic viticulture, and the consistency it delivers across all three colours. A Cru Classé de Provence that earns its classification vintage after vintage.
