A distinguished rosé from Languedoc's finest terroir

  • This Pic-Saint-Loup rosé invites you beyond the familiar. Crafted by one of Languedoc's most respected producers, it offers complexity and character rarely found at this level, rewarding those willing to explore beyond conventional choices.
  • Exceptionally versatile at table, this wine proves its worth alongside grilled meats and Mediterranean fare. Its freshness and generosity make it equally at home with lighter summer dishes and more robust preparations.
  • Chateau Puech-Haut demonstrates that serious winemaking need not command premium pricing. This rosé delivers genuine complexity and terroir expression whilst remaining remarkably accessible—a wine of real substance rather than fashionable styling.

Complex and layered, with citrus and stone fruit flavours supported by fine acidity and a saline minerality. The palate shows good structure and length, finishing with refreshing dryness and subtle grip.
M. Francois
This rosé exemplifies the quality achievable in Pic-Saint-Loup when serious viticulture meets restrained winemaking. It transcends the casual summer wine category, offering genuine food compatibility and ageing potential. Ideal with grilled preparations, it equally rewards contemplation as an aperitif wine. A benchmark example of what Languedoc's finest domains can achieve.

CHATEAU PUECH-HAUT

Set on the argilo-calcaire slopes and rolled-pebble soils of Saint-Drézéry, north-east of Montpellier, Château Puech-Haut farms 150 hectares in organic conversion within the Languedoc appellation. Founded in 1980 by Gérard Bru on what was once dense garrigue and olive groves, the estate has steadily established itself as one of the region's most consistent addresses, blending Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for its reds, and Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier for its whites. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its range, the precision of its assemblages, and the fresh momentum brought since 2024 by incoming managing director Arnaud Demongeot. A reliable, characterful choice for those who want the Languedoc at its most complete.
