Product features : Chateau de Camensac - 5eme Cru Classé 2022 — Haut-Médoc

In the mouth
Fine-grained tannins provide the framework for a wine of genuine power and harmony. The mid-palate displays excellent depth, whilst the finish is notably persistent, echoing red fruit and integrated oak with impressive length.
On the nose
Black pepper and rose petals emerge first, layered with cassis and subtle cedar notes. The bouquet develops with air, revealing darker mineral undertones characteristic of fine Left Bank Bordeaux.
On the eye
Deep, lustrous garnet with brilliant clarity. A wine of evident concentration and purity.
Breeding
Ageing in French oak barrels for 14 to 18 months (60% new barrels)
M. Francois
Ideally suited to classic Bordelaise preparations—a grilled entrecôte or roasted duck would be natural companions. The wine's structure and elegance make it equally rewarding as a standalone expression of Haut-Médoc terroir. Best enjoyed from 2025 onwards.
