Intense aromatics of dark berries and blackcurrant, with vanilla undertones and a whisper of toasted oak. The bouquet develops gradually, revealing further complexity with aeration.
On the eye
Deep ruby colour with subtle garnet reflections
Breeding
18 months in new French oak demi-muids (580 litres)

Excellent with duck breast, venison, or game birds. The wine's structure and elegance also suit veal dishes with autumn fruits, or mushroom-based preparations. Best served at 16-17°C, decanted thirty minutes before service.
