Inviting bouquet of red fruits and liquorice, complemented by forest floor notes and a subtle vanilla character from oak élevage. The aromatics develop with air.
On the eye
Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, bright and concentrated
Breeding
12 months in French oak barrels, imparting complexity and structure to the wine
M. Francois
Château Noaillac represents the Médoc Cru Bourgeois at its most honest—a wine of genuine quality that neither overreaches nor disappoints. Its generous fruit, supple tannin structure and refined balance suit both weekday enjoyment and more formal occasions. Excellent with roasted meats, game and mature cheeses. A wine that merits a place in any serious cellar.

CHATEAU NOAILLAC

Situated at Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac in the northern Médoc, Château Noaillac extends across 46 hectares of Garonnais and Pyrenean gravel, producing red, rosé and white wines under the Médoc appellation. Acquired in 1981 by Marc and Xavier Pagès on entirely abandoned land, the château was replanted from scratch and has since risen to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in 2018, now guided by Damien Pagès, the family's third generation. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its HVE-certified viticulture, the distinctive character of its gravelly ridges, and the consistent quality of its Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon-led reds. A Médoc of genuine substance, rooted firmly in its terroir.
