Product features : Chateau Prieure-Lichine - 4eme Cru Classé 2021 — Margaux

In the mouth
The palate is elegant and complex, with refined tannins that frame the fruit without dominating. The wine shows good balance between structure and finesse, characteristic of fine Margaux, with a persistent finish.
On the nose
The bouquet reveals dark fruit aromas—blackcurrant and plum—alongside floral notes of violet. Spice and subtle oak nuances complete the aromatic profile, suggesting both structure and careful élevage.
On the eye
Mahogany hue with good depth and clarity
Breeding
In French oak barrels for a period of 14 to 16 months
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with lamb dishes, particularly those prepared with time and care—a slow-braised lamb shoulder or navarin would complement its structure and aromatic complexity admirably. The wine's elegance also suits duck and game preparations. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow the wine to open fully.
