In the mouth
The palate is structured and substantial, with well-integrated tannins providing backbone. Oak influence appears in the finish, where it frames the wine's natural fruit expression with authority and grace.
On the nose
Layered aromas of cassis and plum are complemented by forest floor notes, with vanilla and subtle toast adding complexity and refinement to the bouquet.
On the eye
Deep garnet with an almost opaque core, suggesting considerable concentration.
Breeding
Aged in new oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with refined cuisine of substance and character—roasted game, beef en croûte, or aged cheeses. The 2021 will develop further complexity over the coming years, making it equally suited to the cellar as to the table.

CHATEAU MARGAUX

Château Margaux extends across 262 hectares at Margaux-Cantenac in the Gironde, at the heart of the Bordeaux appellation, on gravelly croupes widely regarded as among the finest on the Left Bank. Restructured from 1572 by the de Lestonnac family and classified a 1er Grand Cru in 1855, the château was decisively revived from 1977 under André Mentzelopoulos; his family continues to lead the estate today, with Alexis Mentzelopoulos at the helm since 2023. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the coherence of its vineyard, the precision of its Cabernet Sauvignon-led assemblages, and the singular character of its dry white, Pavillon Blanc, produced entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. A Bordeaux landmark we are proud to offer.
