On the eye
Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, displaying excellent clarity and luminosity
On the nose
A refined bouquet opening with red fruits—raspberry and redcurrant—alongside fresh cassis. The terroir speaks through violet, liquorice and a discreet cedar note that adds complexity.
In the mouth
Dense and structured, with fine tannins and subtle oak influence. The palate shows good concentration and the balance characteristic of fine Margaux, with a lingering finish.
An ideal companion to a carefully chosen cheese course—particularly the great cheeses of Bordeaux's neighbouring regions. The wine's structure and fruit-forward character make it equally suited to game and beef preparations. A wine of substance that will develop further over the next fifteen to twenty years.

CHATEAU CANTENAC BROWN
A Third Grand Cru Classé of the Margaux appellation, Château Cantenac Brown extends across 60 hectares of deep gravel soils on the Cantenac plateau in the Gironde. Founded in 1806 by the Scotsman John Lewis Brown — who commissioned a striking neo-Tudor château quite unlike anything else in the Médoc — the estate was acquired in December 2019 by the Le Lous family (Urgo group) for approximately €150 million, bringing fresh ambition and a new rammed-earth winery inaugurated in 2023. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the precision of its blend — Cabernet Sauvignon-led, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot — and for the long-term vision being applied to one of Bordeaux's most celebrated terroirs. A Médoc classic, renewed with purpose.
