Product features : La Chablisienne Saint-Bris 2020

Breeding
Brief ageing of approximately 6 to 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
On the eye
Pale yellow with greenish-golden reflections. Bright and clear in the glass.
On the nose
Fresh fruit character with subtle exotic notes. The bouquet is clean and inviting, suggesting citrus and stone fruit with a whisper of tropical influence.
In the mouth
Lively and immediate on the palate, almost bracing in its freshness. The wine awakens the senses at once, with good acidity and mineral tension throughout.
M. Francois
This wine pairs naturally with seafood and white fish preparations. Consider it with oysters, grilled sole, or delicate shellfish dishes. Its mineral backbone and saline finish make it particularly sympathetic to fruits de mer.

LA CHABLISIENNE

Based in Chablis in the Yonne, La Chablisienne is the appellation's only cooperative, farming 1,250 hectares of Kimmeridgian limestone and marl and accounting for more than a quarter of all Chablis produced. Founded on 1st May 1923 by Abbé Balitrand, the cooperative today unites around 300 grower-members producing exclusively white Chardonnay, with both Terra Vitis and organic certification underpinning its environmental commitments. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its range, the characteristic mineral expression of the Chablis terroir, and the seriousness of its approach to sustainable viticulture. A dependable reference for anyone seeking the true character of the appellation.
