Product features : Domaine de Chevalier - Pessac-Leognan Grand Cru Classé 2021 — Pessac-Léognan

In the mouth
A rich, silken palate with considerable substance. The tannins are refined rather than aggressive, supporting a long, measured finish. Structure suggests a wine of considerable longevity.
On the nose
Powerful Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics predominate: ripe dark fruits, with undertones of fresh leather and subtle earth. The bouquet unfolds with time in the glass.
On the eye
Deep garnet, with an intensity that suggests concentration and maturity potential.
Breeding
Aged in barrels (one-third new oak) for 16 to 18 months.
M. Francois
This is a wine of substance suited to serious food pairing. Consider it alongside roasted beef, game, or aged cheeses. A Camembert normand or mature Comté would be equally rewarding. The wine's structure also complements duck preparations, particularly those with rich, savoury sauces.
