The harmony of a great Médoc: finesse and power in balance

  • Classified as a Third Growth in the 1855 ranking, Château La Lagune stands among Haut-Médoc's finest properties. Its vineyard occupies the celebrated Left Bank, where Garonne gravels provide ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon cultivation.
  • Cabernet Sauvignon forms the backbone, delivering solid structure and depth. Merlot contributes roundness and softness, whilst Petit Verdot adds spiced notes and aromatic complexity to the blend.
  • La Lagune demonstrates considerable ageing potential. Powerful and structured in youth, it evolves gracefully over years, developing secondary aromas of forest floor, leather and tobacco with refined texture.
