Ageing in 400 L barrel for 16 months

Deep purplish-red, almost opaque, with dark reflections suggesting considerable depth and concentration.
On the nose
Delicate and fresh on the nose, offering suave aromatics that invite closer inspection without demanding attention. The garrigue notes emerge gradually.
In the mouth
The palate reveals tannins of remarkable finesse—tightly woven yet silken, almost tactile in their refinement. The structure is generous and spherical, with good volume and a persistent conclusion.

Bergerie du Capucin is a wine estate in the Languedoc (Hérault), at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup. Organically farmed vineyard. Mediterranean grapes: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre (reds), Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier (whites). Appellations: Languedoc, Terrasses du Larzac. The wines express the diversity of Languedoc terroirs.
