  • Certified organic viticulture. This cuvée reflects a commitment to sustainable practice without compromise to quality or character, allowing the terroir to speak with purity.
  • The wine displays remarkable aromatic complexity: dark fruit, spice, and mineral notes interweave with subtle herbal and roasted coffee undertones, creating a layered sensory experience.

Product features : Alain Jaume Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Grand Veneur Vieilles Vignes 2019 — Châteauneuf-du-Pape

In the mouth
Spice and ripe dark fruit emerge over vanilla-tinged oak and substantial, fine-grained tannins. The finish is notably long, sustained by impressive salinity and a silken texture that belies the wine's power.
On the nose
Cassis and blackberry mingle with white pepper and cinnamon, followed by dried herbs and roasted coffee notes. The bouquet develops with aeration, revealing further aromatic nuance.
On the eye
Deep, almost black robe with excellent depth of colour
Breeding
Ageing for 16 months comprising 40% in concrete vat and 60% in new and one-year-old French oak barrels (Tronçais origin)
M. Francois
A Châteauneuf-du-Pape of considerable stature, expressing the quintessence of its terroir. The old vines deliver concentration and complexity whilst organic viticulture has preserved the purity of expression. A wine of depth and elegance, rewarding both immediate enjoyment and patient cellaring.
