Breeding
Aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, imparting fine aromatic complexity and subtle oak character.
On the eye
Intense ruby robe with brilliant luminosity; violet and cherry hues shimmer throughout.
On the nose
Red and dark fruits—cassis, blueberry, cherry, blackberry, raspberry—mingle with violet, peony, cedarwood, mint, pepper and clove. Aromatic complexity unfolds with air.
In the mouth
Bergamot and eucalyptus notes emerge on the palate, supported by fine-grained tannins of considerable elegance. Mineral tension runs throughout, lending freshness and definition.

Domaine des Roches Neuves is a wine estate in the Saumur-Champigny appellation (Loire Valley), run by Thierry Germain. Around 28 hectares farmed biodynamically. Main grapes: Cabernet Franc (reds) and Chenin Blanc (whites). Limestone tuffeau soils. Cuvées: Terres Chaudes, Marginale, Franc de Pied. Wines of great precision and fine depth.
