Breeding
Fermentation and élevage in stainless steel vats or older oak foudres (depending on cellar choices for the vintage) to preserve the Riesling's purity
On the eye
Luminous golden-yellow hue with bright, crystalline clarity.
On the nose
Intense aromatics of ripe stone fruits and white flowers, with honeyed notes and a subtle mineral undertone characteristic of the Muenchberg terroir.
In the mouth
Graceful roundness with well-judged acidity, revealing flavours of exotic fruits, candied citrus peel and honeyed spice. The finish is clean and persistent.

A wine of considerable elegance and poise. The late harvest concentration is evident in its layered fruit character, yet the acidity remains vibrant and refreshing. Suitable for pairing with refined desserts, aged cheeses or simply as a meditation wine for a special occasion. This is a genuine expression of Alsatian Riesling at its finest.

DOMAINE OSTERTAG

Domaine Ostertag is a wine estate in Epfig (Bas-Rhin), Alsace. Founded in 1966, run by André Ostertag. Around 15 hectares farmed biodynamically. Grapes: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner. Grand cru: Muenchberg. Parcel-by-parcel vinification in oak barrels (Burgundian style) and tanks. Precise, mineral terroir wines.
