  • Crafted from vines averaging forty-five years of age, this wine draws upon deep-rooted vigour and complexity. The maturity of the vineyard imparts richness and structure to the finished wine.
  • Les Royes expresses a harmonious balance between freshness and depth. The wine unfolds with elegance, revealing layers of flavour that develop gracefully on the palate without excess or pretension.
  • A carefully selected parcel bottling, offered at the producer's own terms. This represents authentic terroir expression from one of the northern Rhône's most respected family domains.

Product features : Domaine Courbis Saint-Joseph Blanc les Royes 2019

Breeding
80% new oak barrels and 20% one-year-old barrels. Ageing on fine lees until bottling, totalling 16 months' élevage.
On the eye
Pale gold with honeyed glints
On the nose
A warm, floral bouquet with subtle mineral undertones. The nose is inviting without being showy, suggesting the wine's underlying refinement and balance.
In the mouth
The palate opens with refreshing acidity before developing into greater complexity. Almond and dried fruit notes emerge, with a whisper of vanilla oak. The finish is clean and persistent, demonstrating the harmony between fruit and structure.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with risotto aux cèpes, where its mineral quality complements the earthiness of the mushrooms. Equally at home with rabbit in cream sauce, where the wine's freshness cuts through the richness of the dish. A versatile table wine of genuine character.
