  • Produced from sustainably farmed vineyards, this wine reflects a measured approach to viticulture that respects both the land and the vintage's natural expression.
  • The estate's long-standing reputation rests upon rigorous selection and traditional élevage practices that allow the wine's structure and complexity to develop naturally.

In the mouth
The palate shows a smooth attack with good freshness. The tannins are well-integrated and provide structure without harshness, whilst the wine maintains excellent volume and a satisfying finish.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with dark berry fruit—cassis and blackberry—followed by secondary notes of vanilla and subtle toasted oak. These develop with air, revealing the wine's layered composition.
On the eye
Deep ruby to garnet in colour, with an intensity that suggests good concentration and maturity.
M. Francois
Serve with roasted lamb, beef, or game birds. The wine's structure and moderate weight make it equally suited to aged hard cheeses with some dryness. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow the bouquet to fully express itself. Drinking well now, it will develop further over the next five to seven years.

CHATEAU BEAUMONT

Situated at Cussac-Fort-Médoc in the Haut-Médoc appellation, Château Beaumont commands 114 hectares of Günzian sandy gravels — one of the largest single estates in the appellation. Founded in 1824 by M. Bonnin and graced with a striking Renaissance mansard château built in 1854, the property was acquired in 1986 by Grands Millésimes de France, who also own Château Beychevelle. That rigorous stewardship has delivered dual certification under Terra Vitis and HVE, reflecting a genuine commitment to sustainable viticulture. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its Haut-Médoc reds, the frank expression of its gravel terroir, and the honest relationship between assemblage quality and price. A benchmark Haut-Médoc for lovers of classic Bordeaux.
