Breeding
The wine rests on its fine lees for 10 to 12 months. Oak is used sparingly to add structure and richness without ever dominating the fruit or minerality.
On the eye
Pale gold with soft golden glints.
On the nose
Inviting bouquet of white flowers, ripe orchard fruits and honey, with subtle flint minerality and a whisper of stone fruit complexity.
In the mouth
Lively attack followed by notes of pear, quince and honeyed stone fruit. Fine minerality provides structure and definition, leading to a sustained, elegant finish.
M. Francois
A wine of genuine class, suited equally to moments of focused tasting or as an accompaniment to refined dishes. Approachable now, yet possessing sufficient structure and depth to reward cellaring, where further complexity will develop over time.

DOMAINE SAGET LA PERRIERE

Based in Pouilly-sur-Loire since 1790, Domaine Saget la Perrière spans 360 hectares across the Loire Valley's finest appellations, from the Kimmeridgian clays of Pouilly to the flint soils of Sancerre. Now in its ninth generation, Jean-Louis, Arnaud and Laurent Saget have steered the entire estate to organic certification and HVE, working with Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its organic commitment at scale, the clarity of its terroir expression, and the consistent quality of its whites across Pouilly and Sancerre. A dependable Loire reference, equally at home in the cellar or on the table.
