This wine pairs beautifully with game, roasted meats, and mature cheeses. Its impressive cellaring potential means it will continue to unfold and reveal the full richness of its terroir for many years. A wine for the discerning collector.

DOMAINE PONSOT

Situated in Morey-Saint-Denis at the heart of the Côte-d'Or, Domaine Ponsot cultivates 7 hectares across argilo-calcaire soils and characteristic limestone scree of this distinguished Burgundian appellation. Founded in 1872 by William Ponsot after the Franco-Prussian War, the estate was among the first in Burgundy to bottle at the property — as early as 1921 — and to export to the United States. Since 2017, Rose-Marie Ponsot has led the estate, upholding the rigorous family standards that have shaped its Pinot Noirs for over a century. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the precision of its viticulture, the geological character of its terroirs, and the consistency of a Burgundian style refined across generations.
