Product features : Chateau Brillette 2020 — Moulis-En-Médoc

In the mouth
The palate is supple and rounded, with silky tannins and a refined texture. The wine displays good weight without heaviness, with a lingering finish that echoes the cherry fruit on the nose.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with intense dark cherry and morello notes, complemented by subtle spice and a mineral undertone that speaks to the gravelly terroir.
On the eye
A handsome garnet robe, bright and clear.
Breeding
Aged 100% in French oak barrels, of which 30% new.
M. Francois
A natural companion to roasted lamb, braised veal sweetbreads, or a bone-in côte de boeuf. The wine's structure and acidity also make it an excellent choice with aged hard cheeses such as Comté or mature Cheddar.

CHATEAU BRILLETTE

Set on the gravelly crests of Moulis-en-Médoc at the western edge of the Médoc, Château Brillette covers 35 hectares of fine and coarse gunzian graves over a subsoil of marl and clay. Noted in the Guide Féret as early as 1874 and classified Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in 1932, the château spent nearly fifty years in the hands of the Flageul family before passing in 2023 to Château Chasse-Spleen, bringing renewed technical rigour to an already well-established terroir. The estate produces structured HVE-certified reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its Moulis terroir, the seriousness of its new direction and the reliability of its vintages. A sound reference for lovers of classic Bordeaux.
