CHATEAU GRUAUD-LAROSE
Set on the south-east-facing slopes of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the Médoc, Château Gruaud-Larose covers 82 hectares of Garonne gravel classified as a 2nd Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Founded in 1725 and acquired in 1997 by the Merlaut family, this historic château combines centuries of Bordeaux tradition with a certified organic conversion completed in 2022, producing red wines of characteristic structure and depth. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the coherence of its trajectory: a first-rank terroir, rigorous stewardship, and a genuine environmental commitment that lends each new vintage added meaning. A benchmark Saint-Julien — classical in spirit, yet firmly looking forward.
