A distinguished Bandol that pairs exceptionally well with game birds, duck confit, and robust meat dishes. The wine's inherent structure and complexity make it equally suited to contemplative drinking. A fine example of what serious producers in this appellation achieve.

CHATEAU PRADEAUX

Set on hillside slopes facing the sea at Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer in the Var, Château Pradeaux farms 26 hectares in organic conversion across the Bandol appellation, with yields held to just 28 hl/ha. In the Portalis family since 1752, the estate is today run by Edouard and Etienne Portalis — heirs to a lineage that helped bring the Bandol AOC into existence in 1941. Mourvèdre, the appellation's defining grape, finds genuine depth here on deep clay-limestone soils. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its viticulture, the consistency of its style, and its singular place in the history of Bandol. A Provençal reference we are proud to champion.
