In the mouth
The palate is taut and well-structured, with ample, refined tannins that provide backbone without aggression. The finish is long and fresh, with a pleasing mineral quality that lingers.
On the nose
The bouquet reveals dark berry fruits—blackcurrant and plum—alongside exotic wood notes. Toasted and chocolate undertones add further complexity and suggest a wine of some depth.
On the eye
Deep garnet robe with violet reflections; a wine of substance and maturity.
Breeding
Aged 18 to 24 months in barrels renewed at 60%.
M. Francois
This wine will accompany roasted lamb saddle with particular grace, as well as traditional roast beef or duck breast prepared à l'ancienne. Its structure and fruit balance make it equally suitable for well-aged cheeses. A wine that rewards patient cellaring, though approachable now.
