- Vines reaching ninety years of age form the backbone of this cuvée, farmed according to biodynamic principles. The age and maturity of these plantings impart considerable depth and complexity to the finished wine.
- The wine displays remarkable intensity of fruit character. Layered red and dark berry notes are complemented by spice, garrigue, and subtle floral undertones, creating a wine of considerable aromatic presence.
- A harmonious balance between acidity and structure defines the palate. Fine, silky tannins support the fruit without dominating, whilst good natural acidity ensures freshness and food-friendliness throughout.

Intense fruit aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry, followed by spice, garrigue, leather and cocoa, with delicate floral notes

8 months' ageing in concrete vat and old wooden foudres
A wine of considerable charm and balance. Its silky tannins and bright acidity make it an ideal companion to herb-dressed lamb, where its spice and fruit will complement the meat's natural flavours with grace. A genuine pleasure at table.

Domaine Gauby is a wine estate in Calce (Pyrénées-Orientales), Roussillon. Run by Gérard and Ghislaine Gauby. Around 45 hectares farmed biodynamically. Grapes: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Macabeu. Appellations: Côtes du Roussillon Villages, IGP Côtes Catalanes. Cuvées: Muntada, Vieilles Vignes, Coume Gineste. One of the great names of Roussillon.
