A fine choice for those who appreciate robust yet elegant Bordeaux. The wine's structure and complexity make it ideal with substantial meat courses or mature cheeses. Well-suited to cellaring, it will reward patience with further development over the coming years.

CHÂTEAU LA FLEUR PEYRABON

Covering 7 hectares of sandy gravel soils at Saint-Sauveur in the Gironde, Château la Fleur Peyrabon holds a documented presence within the Pauillac appellation dating back to 1766. Acquired in September 2022 by the Héritiers Castéja — who also own Château Batailley and Lynch-Moussas — the estate joins a family group with deep Médoc expertise. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot delivers the structured tannins and depth the appellation demands. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for its historical roots, the rigour the Castéja family brings to every property they steward, and the assured typicity of its reds in an appellation we have followed closely for decades. A fine address for the cellar.
