In the mouth

CHATEAU HAUT-BAILLY
Set on the eastern slopes of Léognan in the Gironde, Château Haut-Bailly covers 30 hectares within the Pessac-Léognan appellation, planted on graves, sand, clay and a subsoil of fossilised marine sediments. Founded in 1461 and acquired in 1998 by the Wilmers family, the château has retained Véronique Sanders as its director, ensuring a remarkable continuity of vision. Cabernet Sauvignon leads an unusually diverse blend — Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Carménère and Malbec — producing red wines of precision and depth, including a 2009 vintage awarded 100/100 by Robert Parker. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its style, the integrity of its terroir-driven approach and its HVE certification.
