The expression of Larnage's distinctive white clay terroir

  • An organic Crozes-Hermitage of genuine character. Produced from vines rooted in the white clay soils of Larnage, this wine demonstrates the mineral precision and aromatic clarity that define the appellation's finest expressions.
  • A complete and substantial wine, held in equilibrium between the weight of ripe fruit and the bracing freshness of the northern Rhône. The structure speaks to careful viticulture and measured élevage.
  • Sourced directly from the domaine and offered at the merchant's price—the advantage of dealing with an established family house rather than through the conventional distribution chain.

In the mouth
Dense and sustained, the palate balances the richness of mature stone fruit against the wine's natural acidity. The finish is long and mineral, with a pleasant grip that suggests the wine will develop further over the next three to five years.
On the nose
Citrus notes predominate—lemon confit and bergamot—with subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the white clay subsoil. The bouquet is clean and inviting without excessive oak influence.
On the eye
Pale gold with silvery highlights
Breeding
12 months
M. Francois
Serve this wine with poultry prepared with Provençal herbs—roasted chicken with thyme and rosemary would be an ideal match. The wine's weight and acidity complement both the delicate meat and the herbal seasoning. Also suitable for lighter fish dishes prepared with butter-based sauces.
