In the mouth
Silken palate with delicate tannin structure and seamless integration. The wine displays excellent balance between fruit, acidity and structure, with a lingering, elegant finish.
On the nose
Refined bouquet of dark berries and subtle spice, with mineral undertones characteristic of the gravelly terroir. The aromatics unfold with considerable finesse and restraint.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with excellent depth and clarity.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted or grilled meats, and proves particularly successful with sauced dishes. It complements firm-fleshed fish such as tuna or swordfish with distinction. A surprising and rewarding match with dark chocolate desserts.
