Product features : Château La Tour Blanche 1er Cru Classé Sauternes 75cl

Breeding
16 to 18 months in 100% new oak barrels
On the eye
Deep golden colour, bright and luminous.
On the nose
Elegant fragrances of white flowers and citrus zest, with subtle honeyed undertones characteristic of botrytised Sauternes.
In the mouth
Ample and refined on the palate, with remarkable freshness. Citrus and candied lemon notes are balanced by the wine's natural sweetness and fine structure. The finish is clean and persistent.
M. Francois
I recommend this wine particularly with blue cheeses—the interplay between the wine's acidity and the cheese's piquancy is genuinely rewarding. It also pairs beautifully with foie gras, of course, and with lighter desserts featuring stone fruits. Serve well-chilled, around 8–10°C. This is a wine that merits proper cellaring; it will develop considerably over the next decade.
