In the mouth
Silky tannins provide structure and elegance rather than weight. The palate shows good balance, with a mineral finish that lingers pleasantly, suggesting the wine will develop further in bottle.
On the nose
Black cherry and redcurrant dominate the bouquet, with a subtle undertone of dark chocolate that adds complexity and refinement without overwhelming the primary fruit character.
On the eye
Deep purple, with the richness of colour that speaks to ripe fruit and careful extraction.
Breeding
30% new oak for 14 months
M. Francois

CHATEAU BELLE-VUE

Situated in Macau, Gironde, Château Belle-Vue covers 15 hectares of deep graves in the Haut-Médoc appellation, on a well-drained ridge adjoining Château Giscours. Founded in 1996 and acquired in 2004 by Vincent Mulliez, it earned Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel classification in 2020 — a distinction upheld since 2021 by Treasury Wine Estates. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Carménère draws full expression from these classic Médoc soils. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for its terroir precision, consistent Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel standing, and HVE certification — all pointing to a thoughtful approach in the vineyard. A Haut-Médoc of real character, firmly rooted in the Left Bank.
