Product features : Chateau Palmer - 3eme Cru Classé 2017 — Margaux

Breeding
21 months in French oak barrels (approximately 65% new wood)
On the eye
An impenetrable purple robe of remarkable depth and luminosity
On the nose
A bouquet of compelling complexity. Blackcurrant and wild blackberry emerge first, followed by notes of dark cherry and subtle mineral undertones that speak to the terroir's limestone subsoil.
In the mouth
Merlot provides finesse and precise fruit expression; Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure and rigour. The palate is harmonious and layered, with a finish that extends gracefully across dark fruit and fine spice, lingering with quiet authority.
M. Francois
Palmer's signature style—refined, subtle, and elegantly restrained—is fully realised in this vintage. The wine eschews ostentation in favour of complexity and balance. This is Margaux of considerable breeding: a wine that rewards patience and reveals itself gradually over the coming decades.
