Product features : Domaine de la Butte Bourgueil Coteaux du Levant 2018

Breeding
Ageing in oak barrels, often from one to four vintages
On the eye
Youthful purple-tinged ruby, evolving towards garnet with age. Bright and inviting in appearance.
On the nose
Aromatic and expressive. Red currant and redcurrant lead, with delicate floral notes of rose. The bouquet is fresh and well-defined, showing the fruit's maturity without heaviness.
In the mouth
Supple and fleshy on the palate. The tannins are notably silky, almost sweet from the ripeness of the fruit, delivering a remarkable roundness for a Cabernet Franc. The wine flows with ease and balance.
M. Francois
Jacky Blot has achieved something noteworthy here: a refined, food-friendly wine that belies any rustic reputation of the Cabernet Franc. It is fluid, ripe, and remarkably drinkable. Excellent with charcuterie or grilled meats. A wine that rewards both immediate enjoyment and modest cellaring.
